Washi Tape Foto Frames {Tutorial}

I have been on a Washi Tape crafting spree lately. That stuff is sooooo great. Yeah I know coming late to the party. Finally I could get it in my local craft store a few months ago. So I bought three just to try it out and fell in love. I went online to buy some more. Just a week ago our good old Hema (comparable to Target but smaller in scope) came out with their own brand washi tape and they have lovely designs too. So of course I bought all designs to add to my collection.

I've made some gifts for my nieces for doing so well in school and having great report cards. Tatata.... enter my Washi Tape collection, because that's what it is at this point. An easy peasy way to jazz up boring picture frames.

What you will need:
Washi Tape
Picture frames
Scissors
Exacto knife
Cardboard letters (to personalise your frames)

I tried many different ways of placing the Washi Tape and found that random I like the random patchwork pattern the most.

I had three packs of these cheap Ikea frames and I was on a roll with my Washi Tape so I did a few extra.

These two are the ones I chose to personalise for my nieces.

I hope you feel inspired to do some crafting of your own.
